Cinequest Film and Virtual Reality Festival 2017 will occur February 28th to March 12th in San Jose and Redwood City (Silicon Valley). Director Justin Ferrato follows up his 2017 New York Queens Film Festival accolades for Kill The Witness with the 2017 Cinequest premiere of TIPHANY based on the tragic, true story of model, life coach and television star Tiphany Adams.
The documentary, which debuts at the 2017 Cinequest Film Festival on Wednesday, March 1st, tells the true story of world famous fitness model and Push Girls Sundance reality TV star Tiphany Adams as she shares her success story of reaching her dreams in the midst of tragedy.
In collaboration with photographer Kai York of Kai York Productions, the filmmaking team set out to capture a character portrait of Tiphany Adams and her world. Tiphany’s endurance set her on a journey to pursue her dreams of becoming a fitness and fashion model.
The film will screen four times at Cinequest with a premiere party to follow. See list here.

Director Justin Ferrato utilized the high quality digital tools of the iPhone, Filmic Pro App and Sony A7S to shape Tiphany’s story. Editing for the film was cut in Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2016 and color graded in Davinci Resolve.
